Job Description.

Are you looking to make a direct impact at a market leader in the healthcare software technology field? Are you motivated and driven to succeed? We are growing and looking to hire a regional sales executive in the Northeastern Region of the US. In this position you will build and maintain strategic relationships across leading health systems and execute strategies to help them evaluate our offerings. You will manage pipeline development, attend and present at key client business meetings, and collaborate with teammates supporting your region. You will have the opportunity to lead planning and preparation for business development events, including proposal creation, demonstrations, contract negotiations, and establish best practices as we grow our business.

For the past 20+ years our software has been deployed at leading healthcare organizations throughout the United States and across the globe. Our software ensures that patient and provider information is accurate, clean, and shareable within complex IT environments, enabling interoperability, reducing inefficiencies, providing confidence in data analytics, and increasing patient safety; all of which are key initiatives for healthcare organizations.

Essential Functions.

  • Identify leads and develop opportunities in your core market of hospitals/health systems
  • Execute sales process fundamentals including needs/pains analysis, solution building, product presentation, proposal development and contract execution
  • Achieve sales targets through disciplined pipeline and forecast management
  • Cultivate and maintain C-level relationships with prospects through a consultative, trusted adviser approach to drive new business opportunities
  • Manage the virtual selling team and all necessary resources to maximize sales revenue
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare IT industry technology and business trends
  • Build, maintain and apply knowledge of competitive offerings
  • Document all prospect-related activities within NextGate’s CRM system

Qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in complex healthcare software sales with new clients
  • Established record of success in healthcare provider software sales
  • Passion for technology and customer success
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Experience and/or knowledge of the healthcare IT space
    Curiosity

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 60% as needed when the pandemic concerns are mitigated
