PASADENA, Calif., May 16, 2018 – MKM Health, a leading health IT solutions company across Australia and New Zealand, has entered into an agreement with NextGate, a global leader in healthcare enterprise identification, to become an authorized reseller of NextGate’s flagship EMPI and Provider & Organization Registry software. The agreement enables customers in Australia and New Zealand to overcome the challenges of today’s complex healthcare IT environment and link patient and provider data across multiple disparate systems, sources and locations for a centralized record of care and reliable data exchange.

To help customers effortlessly manage their physician and provider networks, NextGate’s Provider Registry brings centralized visibility across all systems and sources while preventing the proliferation of incomplete and often outdated provider data.
The reseller agreement is a significant investment in improved quality and patient safety and will be a key enabler of a fully interoperable infrastructure of connected, coordinated care.
A partnership between NextGate and MKM Health already supports a multi-year contract with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Victoria in deploying EMPI technology for the Victorian Public Health Sector.
